Goody Demolition was awarded the contract to demolish part of the church and the adjoining community centre. A soft strip of the interior was followed by the installation of a suspended propping system to give extra support to the church structure during the demolition of the community centre. Once the site was cleared of all demolished debris and the piling of the foundations for a new steel framed community centre had been completed, the propping was safely removed.
