GDL appointed to National Demolition Framework

Goody have been appointed to the National Demolition Framework designed to provide ‘honest and dependable’ contractors for the public sector.

5th February 2021

The four-year appointment was awarded by ProcurePublic Ltd to only 16 demolition contractors. The industry-leading, OJEU-compliant framework is used by a wide range of public sector contracting authorities including housing associations, local authorities and government departments, emergency services, schools and universities, and NHS bodies.

Managing Director, Gary Venner says: “We are delighted to be appointed to this national framework and to be recognised for our high standards and dependability. We already work with many different public sector contracts and this not only opens up new opportunities but gives our existing clients additional reassurance that they have picked the right contractor for the job and are providing value-for-money to the public.”

Promoting pre-qualified suppliers, the National Demolition Framework covers a full range of demolition services including crushing and screening, demolition and dismantling, enabling works, reclamation, site clearance and strip out.

Those awarded positions on the framework were assessed against strict criteria including quality of workmanship, provision of the full range of demolition services required, and the ability to give the right assurances to clients. Public sector organisations can use the framework to either directly select approved suppliers or to carry out a mini competition.
