ASBESTOS MANAGEMENT
As part of our complete demolition services, Goody provides a comprehensive asbestos management service including surveys and removal.
We manage all aspects of the asbestos removal in line with our detailed asbestos policy and methodology covering all asbestos and health and safety legislation. We will remove the risk of asbestos from your site efficiently and effectively, with all works involving asbestos closely supervised and undertaken by staff specially trained in the handling and removal of asbestos.

We can remove notifiable and non-notifiable materials to the highest health & safety standards in accordance with the Control of Asbestos Regulations 2012. We are qualified and experienced in removing non-notifiable asbestos materials ourselves and regularly do so as part of demolition projects.
Where a project requires the removal of notifiable asbestos, we will manage your requirements in partnership with our associate company, Horizon Environmental, or another licensed asbestos removal company with whom we work closely.

Asbestos surveys and testing
We are able to provide asbestos surveys to assess a structure prior to all demolition or soft strip works being carried out. We use UKAS accredited partners with whom we have longstanding relationships.
We also offer an asbestos testing service where we suspect that materials may be hazardous in order to prevent contamination of the site.

Reclamation and recycling
Our internal demolition services are carried out in accordance with our environmental commitments, in particular to ensure that all re-useable items are separated and reclaimed for use in new construction projects wherever possible.
